Job Description
Job Overview:
Team is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior UX Designer with a strong background in creating user-centric, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing web and mobile applications, with expertise in tools such as Figma, HTML, and CSS. As a UX Designer, you will work cross-functional team, collaborates closely with UX Researchers, UI Designers, Developers, and Product Owners to translate complex requirements into elegant design solutions that enhance the user experience and meet business objectives.
Experience and Skills:
The candidate should be well-versed in UX design best practices. Must have experience working on large-scale projects and designing user-friendly interfaces. Must be familiar with accessibility standards. Excellent communication skills. A good team player. Knowledge of AWS, Angular, or Node.js is a plus.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and other design tools.
• Define Information Architecture through creation of website sitemaps, navigation, hierarchies, and categorizations that allow users to understand where they are, and where the information they want is in relation to their current position.
• Create interactive prototypes to showcase functionality and flow for stakeholders.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve design solutions.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of designs and provide guidance on HTML and CSS for pixel-perfect execution.
• Identify and conduct the appropriate type of audit (competitive, heuristic, usability) to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, UX designers, learning scientists, instructional designers, developers, and product owners in cross-functional agile teams to ensure the successful implementation of a product that adheres to business goals and conforms to ETS’ technical, accessibility and architectural standards.
• Remain current with usability and accessibility guidelines that change with evolving and emerging technologies.
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across various devices and platforms.
