Role: Front End UI Developer – Lead
Job Overview: Lead UI Developer with over 7 years of expertise in front-end technologies, including Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of not only developing high-quality user interfaces but also architecting and designing scalable frameworks and reusable components. As a Lead UI Developer, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction for UI development, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user-centric design with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, design, and implement scalable UI frameworks and reusable components that support long-term growth and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of UI developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure design feasibility and seamless integration of front-end elements with back-end services.
• Lead the design and development of responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Drive the creation and adoption of reusable UI libraries and design systems to maintain consistency across multiple products and projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the UI development process and improve system performance.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and offer technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers to ensure high standards of quality and performance.
• Maintain a focus on cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization in all UI components.
• Ensure the team delivers on project timelines while maintaining high quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
• Extensive experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in architecting scalable UI frameworks and building reusable component libraries.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for front-end architecture.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with back-end services.
• Expertise in performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and modern build tools (NodeJS/NPM).
• Deep knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) for front-end code.
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages and frameworks - Java, Rest APIs, Spring, Hibernate, AWS services
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with other front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for front-end applications.
• Experience in Agile development environments and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
