Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
•    Lead architecture design for large-scale, high-performing, secure, and resilient systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
•    Define and own the technical roadmap, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
•    Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP services, serverless components, containers, and managed services.
•    Develop reference architectures, POCs, and reusable frameworks.
•    Ensure architecture alignment with business goals, scalability needs, and compliance standards.
Technical Leadership
•    Mentor and guide engineering teams, senior developers, and technical leads.
•    Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture audits.
•    Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and modern engineering practices.
Cloud & Infrastructure
•    Design cloud deployment architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
•    Implement cloud-native patterns: API Gateway, event-driven architecture, messaging queues, caching, distributed transactions.
•    Optimize performance, cost, and security of cloud solutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
•    Work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
•    Collaborate with enterprise architects to standardize architecture patterns.
•    Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Required Skills & Experience
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems.
• Strong experience in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis/Hazelcast, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience in DDD, design patterns, and performance optimization.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive technical discussions, mentor teams, and build consensus.
• Strong problem-solving and innovation mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Architect.
• Experience with API management platforms, service mesh, and observability tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data engineering is a plus.
