Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer to facilitate the migration of data from Oracle databases to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and ETL processes, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze the existing Oracle database structure and data.
• Design and implement effective data mapping and transformation strategies to align with the requirements.
• Develop processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle to Salesforce using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
• Validate and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and cleansing to align with target system requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot migration processes, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to understand data requirements.
• Document migration procedures, processes, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data migration or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Proven experience in ETL tools and data migration processes.
• Experience with data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques.
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
• Certification in Oracle Database or related technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
