Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic professional who can play a dual role as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master for a strategic US Insurance project. The ideal candidate will have relevant project experience with good hands-on experience in Agile methodologies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from US-based stakeholders.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and development teams to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
• Support UAT and business validations.

As a Scrum Master:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Remove impediments and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles.
• Track sprint progress and maintain Jira boards or equivalent tools.
• Coach team members on Agile best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of sprint goals.

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of US Insurance domain
• Experience/Certification in business analysis and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Postman
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent.
• IIBA or CBAP certification is a plus.
• Experience working with US clients and distributed teams.
