Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for incident response services including reporting, coordination, and problem escalation.
- Analyze incident tickets and assign them to the appropriate internal resolver group. Perform daily follow-ups and escalate internally for unresolved issues.
- Investigate email notifications received and notify relevant stakeholders for necessary actions.
- Coordinate incident response efforts between Iris teams, partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely response.
- Engage with the team once an actionable incident ticket is assigned for IT team action.
- Escalate issues and coordinate response strategies across teams, developing a tailored communication plan for each team involved.
- Collaborate during incident handling and work closely with forensics experts when necessary.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports in accordance with internal requirements, providing updates and relevant insights.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly discussions and report reviews with stakeholders to assess incident handling and overall response effectiveness.
- Organize regular weekly and monthly review meetings with partners, addressing requirements and recommending improvements to security practices.
- Conduct periodic review calls to ensure SLA compliance and alignment with contractual commitments.
- Coordinate change management requests as required to ensure proper updates and alignment.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on trust, open communication, creative problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Compile and provide first-response information regarding incidents, interpreting and prioritizing events, and analyzing trends to identify key patterns.
- Identify initial infection vectors, perform threat intelligence analysis, and protect against various threats including malware, phishing, and hacking, utilizing a wide range of threat intelligence sources.
- Coordinate incident mitigation, tracking, and closure in collaboration with asset owners and relevant departments.
- Provide support in managing Cyber Incidents and Crisis situations, including conducting drills, table-top exercises, and simulations.
- Ensure the closure of Brand Monitoring tickets by taking down malicious sites and suspicious pages after coordinating with stakeholders.
