Job Description

Strong skills in SQL internals:
     Execution plans, cardinality estimation
     Memory grants, parallelism (DOP), waits & latches
     Locking, blocking, deadlocks, isolation levels
• Experienced in designing and tuning large scale databases
• Performance optimization experience using :
    Indexing strategies (B tree, Columnstore)
    Partitioning & sliding window patterns
    TempDB tuning and contention mitigation
• Hands on with In Memory OLTP, Columnstore, batch heavy workloads
• Ability to diagnose systemic issues, not just individual queries
This is not a DBA role, but a strong developer who is well versed with database performance tuning, OLTP etc
