Job Description
Develop, maintain, and enhance SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Create and optimize SAS macros, procedures, and queries to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective SAS solutions.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data through data validation and cleansing processes.
Design and implement SAS-based reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making processes.
Perform thorough testing and debugging of SAS programs to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data outputs.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to address and resolve any issues identified during testing.
Maintain detailed documentation for SAS programs, data flows, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SAS Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SAS programming language.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, and SAS Visual Analytics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
SAS Certification is a plus.
Experience with other programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
