SAS Data - Lead

Job Description

80% hands-on development/administration and 20% people management.
•    Create Functional and Detailed Design documents, Software Configuration Plans, and Unit Test Plans.
•    Perform ETL (extraction, transformation, load) using SQL Loader, SAS Base code, and SAS VIYA across SAS AML platform hops.
•    Administer and maintain Production and Non-Production environments for SAS VIYA 4.0, SAS GRID 9.4M8, and SAS AML.
•    Work with SAS VIYA technology on Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, and SAS Cloud Analytic Services (CAS); apply hotfixes and patches.
•    Develop SAS DataFlux workflows and Data Flows in VIYA using SAS Quality Knowledge Base.
•    Implement Entity Resolution using SAS DQ/DataFlux and/or VIYA Dataflow.
•    Program and administer SAS GRID, SAS AML, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics, and SAS VIYA.
•    Customize SAS Alert Generation Process modules to meet business requirements.
•    Create SAS Prep Data for custom scenarios and enhance existing AML scenarios.
•    Build Visual Analytics and SOLR reports; deliver ad-hoc data analysis reports for production support.
•    Develop UNIX shell scripts to integrate SAS jobs with scheduling tools like Autosys; manage inter-module calls.
•    Identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers.
•    Collaborate with business analysts and partners to gather requirements, review designs, conduct testing, and demonstrate solutions.
•    Mentor and coach team members; contribute to SAS VIYA and SAS GRID architecture, design, development, and testing.
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Computer Science, or related field.
•    10+ years of software development experience in cross-functional teams, including leadership in onshore/offshore models.
•    10+ years of experience implementing technology solutions in banks or financial institutions.
•    3+ years of experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS.
•    5+ years of experience writing Unix shell scripts.
•    Experience with server implementations and Commvault.
•    Skilled in Visual Analytics, SOLR, or similar analytic reporting platforms.
•    Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, or similar web application servers.
•    Strong background in J2EE tech stack, Angular, and Microservices.
•    Experience with Autosys and other job schedulers.
•    Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and WSDL web services.
•    Strong technical proficiency in system analysis and application design.
•    In-depth knowledge of Compliance Risks and Risk Management, including AML.
•    Excellent oral/written communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
•    Experience writing FDDs and DDDs.
Preferred Qualifications
•    3+ years of experience implementing/administering SAS AML.
•    1+ years of experience with SAS VIYA.
•    3+ years of experience with SAS Enterprise Miner, APM, and SAS Management Console.
•    3+ years of experience writing complex SAS queries.
•    Experience migrating SAS Grid 9.4 M6/M7/M8 to SAS Viya 4.0.
•    Experience with ETL using SAS Base, SAS VIYA, CAS, and SQL Loader.
•    Experience with Quality Knowledge Base workflows and Entity Resolution using SAS DataFlux/VIYA Dataflow.
•    Experience customizing SAS Alert Generation Process modules
