Recon - Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize reconciliation processes using Intellimatch Recon, SmartStream TLM, DUCO, or Frontier platforms.
• Define reconciliation rules, matching strategies, exception handling approaches, and operational controls.
• Lead reconciliation configuration and enhancement initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Design, optimize, and review SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and reconciliation data analysis techniques to support reconciliation processing, exception investigation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze complex reconciliation breaks and define sustainable resolution approaches.
• Establish reconciliation monitoring practices and operational reporting mechanisms.
• Drive reconciliation process improvements focused on accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Define data validation and quality assurance standards supporting reconciliation effectiveness.
• Review reconciliation configurations and operational processes to ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Support reconciliation platform upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex reconciliation and platform-related issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Mentor team members on reconciliation processes, platform capabilities, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to support end-to-end reconciliation operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reconciliation quality, automation, and operational excellence.
