Job Description
A QA Engineer/Tester is responsible for creating tests to identify problems with the software prior to its release at the customer’s infrastructure and for carrying them out, working closely with the development team.
Experience: 5-8 years
He is mainly responsible for:
- Defining the test plan, i.e. a document that defines the necessary tests to be carried out and the way in which to do it, for a given part or feature of the software
- Performing all the defined tests, repeating them if necessary and developing new ones if necessary
- Analysing relevant bugs and errors discovered during the tests
- Document the results of the tests and report them to the software development team
- Collaborate with the development team to improve the customer experience and optimize the software
Skills required:
- Expertise in creating test cases for Data Warehousing
- Expert in writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of validating data from the backend as well as test data in the Power BI reports.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Excellent analytical and accuracy skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues
- Flexibility and open-mindedness
- Strong goal orientation and adaptability
- Good English communication skills
