Job Description

  • Test Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for all aspects of the Körber WMS, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
    • Identify test data requirements and create or procure appropriate datasets for testing.
    • Define and implement QA best practices for WMS testing within the warehouse environment.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • WMS Functionality Testing:
    • Thoroughly test all aspects of the Körber WMS functionality, including:
      • Receiving and Putaway
      • Inventory Management (cycle counts, adjustments)
      • Order Management (wave planning, picking, packing, shipping)
      • Task Management (directed workflows)
      • Labor Management (performance tracking)
      • Returns Processing
    • Validate system configuration and parameter settings.
    • Test integration with other systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, eCommerce platforms).
    • Test mobile device functionality and user interfaces used within the warehouse.
  • Automation & Scripting:
    • Good to have
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
    • Communicate test progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
    • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on WMS testing.
  • Experience testing Körber WMS (formerly HighJump or Accellos) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with SQL and database queries.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
