Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (QE) with a good understanding of software testing fundamentals and automation to support testing activities in an Agile environment. The candidate should be comfortable with both manual testing and basic test automation and should have working knowledge of Java and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform manual testing to validate application functionality and ensure quality deliverables.
•    Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
•    Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium.
•    Identify, log, and track defects through the defect management process.
•    Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
•    Perform basic SQL queries to validate data in databases.

Required Skills:
•    Good understanding of software testing basics and QA processes.
•    Experience in manual testing.
•    Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation.
•    Basic knowledge of Java for automation scripting.
•    Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
•    Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Preferred:
•    Understanding of test automation frameworks.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Good communication and collaboration skills.
