Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Experience in manual and automation testing of web and windows/desktop applications.
    1. Ideal candidate has 6-8 years experience
  • Experience working in the financial domain/trading platforms.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for test plans, test cases, and test steps
  • Experience with Test case creation and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Testrails, etc
  • Ability to verify data consistency and accuracy between databases and across platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self Driven and is able to flesh out Test Requirements if AC is unknown or ambiguous.
    1. Having an open mind and willingness to learn is a plus.
  • Proficient in Java – should be able to help maintain/enhance existing test automation.
  • Experience with Spring, Cucumber, and/or Selenium WebDriver a Plus
  • Proficient in testing REST-Ful applications and Software as a Service (SaaS) systems.
  • Basic understanding of CSS, HTML, JSON, XML, CSV, and SQL
    1. Just needs to be able to read existing code in these languages and figure out what is going on
  • Experience with Version Control Systems like GIT
