Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project architecture and define QE strategy aligning with RBC standards
  • Lead test automation initiatives using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured, Cypress, Provar etc)
  • Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
  • Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD testing practices and shift-left testing
  • Define and implement performance, security, and integration testing strategies
  • Evaluate opportunities to integrate Gen AI into QE processes – test case generation, self-healing tests, intelligent defect triaging, etc.
  • Contribute to RFP and proposal efforts from a QE standpoint
  • Mentor junior testers and ensure consistent QE best practices

Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and test architecture
  • Familiarity with Gen AI trends in QE space (bonus if he is hands on), knowledge of tools and framework like playwright.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker
  • Domain experience in Wealth/Banking is preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
