Job Description
Automated Testing:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Implement and optimize automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Data-Driven Testing).
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
Monitor test execution results and generate detailed reports.
Performance & API Testing (Optional but Preferred):
Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SOAP UI.
Perform load and performance testing using JMeter.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality at every stage of development.
Provide feedback on usability, performance, and potential improvements.
Contribute to test documentation and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of manual testing experience and 5+ year of automation experience.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience in SQL queries for data validation.
Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub).
Good understanding of API testing and CI/CD integration (preferred).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with mobile automation testing (Android & iOS).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
