QA Automation - Consultant

Job Description

Experience:
15+ years of Quality Engineering experience with strong exposure to automation and manual testing, managing large scale QE programs.
Responsibilities
•    Lead and manage QE programs focused on Data Testing and ETL testing.
•    Own test strategy, test planning, and execution for data pipelines and analytics platforms.
•    Manage QE teams, including resource allocation, coordination, and delivery governance.
•    Ensure data integrity, validation, reconciliation, and regression testing across ETL workflows.
•    Drive process improvements to optimize quality, cost, and timelines.
•    Collaborate closely with development and data engineering teams on defect resolution.
•    Provide accurate testing estimations and quality reporting.
•    Lead a team of SDETs, QE engineers, and manual testers; foster a culture of quality, reusability, and automation-first
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives via test metrics, RCA, defect leakage trends, and QE process optimization
•    Support proposal, RFP, and stakeholder presentations by articulating QE capability maturity, roadmap, and measurable outcomes (KPIs, ROI, coverage)

Required Skills
•    Experience in ETL, data warehouse, and data validation testing.
•    Hands on with automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
•    Experience working in BFSI/Wealth/Capital Markets domain; prior exposure to Enterprise Risk platforms, data governance, or regulatory workflows is a strong plus
•    Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI tools in testing & QE is a strong plus
•    Proven ability to mentor and scale QE teams, establish best practices, and manage client expectations
•    Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement across BAs, Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
