QA Automation BDD - Senior Engineer

Job Description

Mandatory Skills

• Candidate with around 5-8 years of experience.
• Candidate must have experience in both Automation testing as well as manual QA
• Candidate must have Automation testing skills using Selenium with Java, BDD frameworks with Cucumber, Gherkin, WebDriver, Karate/Playwright/Cypress
• Candidate must have basic Java hands on experience , OOPS concept must be very clear and worked on IntelliJ or VS code or any editor to write automation scripts
• Tools: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab, Extent Reports, Insomnia/Postman, Bitbucket
• DB : Oracle, SQL , MySQL, also MongoDB / MariaDB will be an added advantage   
• Candidate must have Kibana experience to verify logs
• Have experience on Testing best practices, all required documentation like Test scenarios preparation, executions and TCR , along with Confluence page creation/updates
• Hands on experience on Bucket/Gitlab, code commit practices
• Able to think out of the box to identify all possible positive/negative test scenarios
• Candidate must be proactive and self-driven
• Experience in Agile methodology , must have used JIRA (or similar tools) extensively
• Good understanding of project and defect lifecycle
• Must come financial services/capital markets/investment banking
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Good Communication and analytical skills
• Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
• Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)

Desirable

• Certification in Banking domain
• Basic Spring framework experience

Education Qualification: B.Tech or MCA
