Job Description
Python Developer for API and AI Integration
- Primary Role: Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. Ensure the APIs are efficient, scalable, and adhere to best practices in RESTful design and microservices architecture.
- Python Expertise: Proficient in Python with strong experience in developing modular, reusable code, handling asynchronous programming, and integrating third-party libraries and SDKs. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and performance optimization techniques in Python.
- AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, and Cognito for backend development.
- AI Integration: Work on integrating Generative AI frameworks, including LangChain and OpenAI, into backend systems and workflows. Develop AI-driven features and ensure seamless interaction with external APIs and embedding systems.
- Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL, with a focus on JSONB fields and GIN indexing for efficient querying.
- Search Systems: Implement and manage OpenSearch for metadata and vector-based searches, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Development Practices: Strong knowledge of API security, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines. Comfortable with agile development processes, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs and technical requirements. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and architectural discussions.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with AI embeddings, vector databases, or advanced AI integration is a plus.
