Job Description
- Experience in software product implementation for Software Services clients implementing products like ERP (Oracle, SAP), ITSM (ServiceNow, FreshService).
- Has at least 3 years of experience project managing product implementations. Total experience of 11 - 14 years.
- Engage stakeholders spanning multiple departments
- Experienced in estimation techniques
- Prepare and manage project plan
- Track project scope, timelines, quality and cost. Track milestone for outcomes
- Proactively identify resource requirements for the project which are needed to achieve the expected deliverables
- Understand the business objectives of internal stakeholders and work with the implementation partner to achieve these objectives through the product being implemented
- Align Business Analyst for detailed requirement gathering, ensure that they follow the processes defined and capture requirements from all the required stakeholders in detail. Review the business requirements captured by the Business Analyst and ensure that these are well documented and approved by all the relevant stakeholders.
- Review design documents and ensure that all the requirements are traceable in the design document and approved by all the relevant stakeholders.
- Align testers timely to test the product for changes being implemented. Ensure test planning and execution is done following set processes, reporting on test progress daily with statistics, ensure comprehensive test case suite is prepared by the testers, reviewed by the BA and the impacted stakeholder departments.
- Able to evaluate different solutions holistically with the stakeholders, bring early agreement and implement the solution
- Conduct discussions with the implementation vendor partners, drive them towards successful outcomes, identify action items from meetings and track them to closure.
- Prepare Change management plan for the organization and help the module owner in executing it
- Communication management with internal stakeholders and external parties
- Ensure compliance to Iris project management processes, best practices, project metrics. Define process where there are gaps and take approval on all tailorings done.
- Ensure that all artefacts / deliverables are tracked, taken through agreed approval process
- Proactive identification of the risks/issues, mitigation and contingency planning, and take them to early closure
- Status reporting to the leadership
- Should have experience supporting a product post implementation, managing enhancements and production issues, tracking them to closure timely, trend analysis and ticket reduction.
Desirable:
- Experience working with the stakeholders for Discovery phase, product evaluation, product selection, vendor selection, procurement and implementation of the product
- Identify need for contracts with external parties and bring to the notice of Iris management early and take to closure
