Product Owner - Lead

Job Description

• 8+ Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably in product engineering.
• Familiarity with product engineering tools and frameworks, with an understanding of technology integration in product development and tech architecture.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
• Certification as a Product Owner (CSPO, SAFe PO, etc.).  
• Understanding of Tech architecture like API, GraphQL etc. 
• Familiarity with a wide range of asset classes such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, derivatives, ETFs, alternative investments, etc.
• Understanding key personas involved (such as Relationship Managers, Advisors, End Clients, etc.) and their specific requirements on constructing, managing and optimizing a portfolio
• Knowledge of portfolio construction & management concepts including asset allocation, diversification, benchmarking, tax-loss harvesting, rebalancing, portfolio return calculation (time-weighted return, dollar-weighted return, etc.), risk-adjusted return analysis (such as sharpe ratio, alpha/beta) and other risk management strategies.
• Strong techno-functional expertise including familiarity with APIs and modern technologies used for data integration, portfolio analysis, and reporting in wealth management platforms
• Proven Project delivery skills with accomplishments leading cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of designing, building, deploying and maintaining a product in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication skills  with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of third-party financial data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar) and portfolio analytics software.
• Experience in delivering client-facing portfolio reports, explaining performance, risk exposures, and investment strategies to advisors and end-clients.
• Certifications such as CFA, Agile/Scrum (CSPO, etc.)
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced fintech environment.
