Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with 5–6 years of hands-on experience, including strong expertise in Gatling, to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests
•    Develop and maintain Gatling scripts using Scala for performance testing
•    Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations
•    Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve performance-related issues
•    Monitor application performance using APM and monitoring tools
•    Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
•    Prepare and present detailed performance reports and dashboards
•    Participate in performance tuning at application, database, and infrastructure levels
•    Ensure best practices and standards are followed for performance engineering

Required Skills & Qualifications
•    5–6 years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering
•    Strong hands-on experience with Gatling (mandatory)
•    Experience with performance testing concepts: Load, Stress, Spike, Soak, Scalability testing
•    Proficiency in Scala (for Gatling scripting)
•    Good understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, microservices architecture
•    Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI)
•    Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic
•    Solid understanding of system architecture, databases, and JVM performance
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent communication and documentation skills
Good to Have
•    Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
•    Exposure to containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
•    Knowledge of other performance tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner)
•    Basic scripting skills (Shell, Python)
