Job Description

Technical skill : Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c )

  • Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL development
  • Strong command over SQL performance tuning and query optimization
  • Experience with:
    • Indexing strategies
    • Partitioning
    • Execution plan analysis

Good to have:

  • Exposure to Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with shell scripting
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts

 

Key Responsibility

  • Experience working with large data volumes and complex schemas
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, indexes, views, packages, procedures, and functions
  • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and optimization techniques
  • Work closely with application teams to support data modeling, schema design, and database integration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database‑related issues in development, QA, and production environments
  • Support data migration, data validation, and release deployments
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and architectural decisions
