OTM Lead Data Engineer

Job Description

•    Senior Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle Transport Management (OTM) 
•    Extensive experience in OTM On-Premise to Cloud Migration, customer onboarding, and a strong understanding of OTM business objects and interfaces. 
•    Proficiency in SQL Server, Java development technology, and a solid understanding of Oracle Data Migration Assistant (DMA) are essential for this role. 
•    Strong leadership skills and ability to interface with end customers, technology development teams and internal business leaders 

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Customer Onboarding in OTM Platform 
•    Lead and manage customer onboarding. Clear understanding of platform capabilities & feasibility, and communicating those to customer, after understanding the requirements / expectations. 
•    Lead Customer onboarding by understanding the solution and impacts to existing domain. 
•    Ensure smooth transition and integration with existing systems and be the point of contact / liaison for client communications – during the course of onboarding 
•    Facilitate the onboarding process for new OTM customers, as well as facilitate conversations related to any change requests coming from customers. 
•    Provide training and support to ensure successful adoption and usage of OTM. 
•    Business Objects and Interfaces: 
•    Develop and maintain a deep understanding of OTM business objects and interfaces. 
•    Design and implement solutions that leverage OTM's capabilities to meet business requirements. 
•    Technical Expertise 
•    Utilize SQL Server for data manipulation, reporting, and integration tasks. 
•    Apply Java development skills to enhance OTM functionality and customize solutions to meet customer requirements as well as internal business objectives 
•    Use Oracle Data Migration Assistant (DMA) for efficient data migration processes. 
•    Collaboration and Communication: 
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers. 
•    Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
•    Problem-Solving: 
•    Identify and resolve issues related to OTM migration and integration. 
•    Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems as they arise. 

Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
•    Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle Transport Management. 
•    Proven experience in OTM On-Premise to Cloud migration projects. 
•    Strong knowledge of OTM business objects and interfaces. 
•    Proficiency in SQL Server and Java development technology. 
•    Familiarity with Oracle Data Mapping exercise between system interfaces across different formats – EDI and protocols. 
•    Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
•    Strong organizational and project management skills. 

Preferred Skills: 
•    Strong & demonstrated experience with other Oracle applications and technologies. 
•    Certification in Oracle Transport Management or related fields. 
•    Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management processes.
