Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. OTM Automation & Workflow Development

  • Develop automation solutions leveraging: OTM Automation Agents, OTM Saved Queries, Finder Sets, Action Checks, Event-driven workflows, XML/XSLT transformations, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Build process automation within OTM SaaS to eliminate manual tasks and streamline business workflows.
  • Implement scheduled automations via OTM agents, OS scripts, database jobs, or external tools (as permitted in SaaS).

2. OTM Configuration & Functional Enhancements

  • Configure OTM modules including: Order Management, Fleet Management, Shipment Planning & Execution, Financials (invoicing, billing, rates), Business Process Automation (workflow)
  • Assist in design and implementation of OTM enhancements based on business requirements.
  • Support regression testing and configuration updates for OTM quarterly upgrades.

3. Integration & Data Management

  • Support OTM integrations using: REST APIs / SOAP Web Services, Oracle Integration Cloud (nice to have), File-based integrations (CSV/XML through SFTP/FTP)
  • Troubleshoot integration errors, mapping issues, and connectivity problems.
  • Work with OTM data model, SQL queries, and reports for analysis.

4. PL/SQL & Technical Development

  • Write complex SQL/PL SQL scripts, stored procedures, and packages for reporting, data fixes (when permitted), or testing.
  • Develop XSLT templates, custom reports, layouts, and automation logic.
  • Collaborate with DBA teams for performance tuning, data extraction, and query optimization.

5. Documentation & Collaboration

  • Prepare technical design documents, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and workflow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross?functional teams: Business Analysts, Integration teams, Infra/OCI teams, and end users.
  • Train users on new automations and enhancements.

6. Technical Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for OTM SaaS/OCI environments.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve technical issues related to: Bulk planning, Order release/order movements, Shipment execution, Integration failures, Automation agents and workflows
  • Interface with Oracle Support for SR creation, tracking, and resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Strong expertise in OTM SaaS or OCI-based OTM deployments.
  • Proven experience in OTM Automation Agents, event-driven logic, workflows, and process automation.
  • Strong knowledge of: OTM data architecture, OTM Planning & Execution modules, OTM XML structures (Transmission, Integration XML), OTM Reports, Screens, Saved Queries
  • Strong development skills in:

PL/SQL, SQL tuning & query optimization, XSLT and XML transformations

  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
  • Hands-on experience with OTM integration using files, APIs, and middleware.
  • Familiarity with OCI infrastructure, logs, monitoring, and OTM cloud administration.

  • Ability to work under pressure with strict SLAs.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Client-facing experience with a proactive service mindset.
