Job Description
A MS Dynamics Techno Functional Analyst specializing in e-commerce is a professional with a blend of technical expertise and functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly its e-commerce capabilities. They bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring successful implementation, customization, and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 solutions within an e-commerce context.
Key Responsibilities often include:
- Analyzing Business Needs: Understanding the specific requirements of the e-commerce business, including order processing, inventory management, customer interactions, and online store functionalities.
- Designing and Configuring Solutions: Translating business requirements into technical solutions within Dynamics 365, including configuration, customization, and potentially some development or coding.
- System Integration: Ensuring seamless data flow and integration between Dynamics 365 and other e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
- Technical Development: While not solely developers, they may be involved in or oversee the development of custom features, reports, or integrations within the Dynamics 365 environment.
- Testing and Validation: Performing functional and potentially technical testing to ensure the solution meets business requirements and works as expected.
- User Support and Training: Providing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and delivering training on the Dynamics 365 e-commerce functionalities.
- Documentation: Creating functional and technical documentation for the implemented solutions.
In essence, this role requires a professional who:
- Possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its e-commerce functionalities.
- Can analyze business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- May have a technical background or strong technical aptitude to understand and potentially perform development or configuration tasks.
- Is an effective communicator and can bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
