Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Support Specialist with hands-on experience in LabVantage LIMS to provide ongoing support for a portal serving approximately 300 users across the UK and US. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and functional understanding of LabVantage, along with strong communication skills to interact directly with business users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the LabVantage portal including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and minor enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Analyze and resolve functional and configuration issues within LabVantage.
  • Support data integrity, workflow configurations, and user management within the system.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with the second support resource (React, JBOSS, API Developer) for full-stack issue resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with LabVantage LIMS (Techno-functional role)
  • Understanding of LIMS workflows, sample lifecycle, and data structures
  • Ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues
  • Experience in user support, ticket handling, and issue documentation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Comfortable interacting with business stakeholders across geographies
