Job Description
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Knowledge and hands on experience on Java 17 or Java 11
Knowledge and hands on experience in Oracle SQL
MUST have strong work experience on Java Streams and Multithreading,
Working experience on VCS (GitHub, Bitbucket), Databases (Oracle/Olympus), sonar.
Have working experience on JIRA for tasks such as updates, cloning etc.
Experience on basic Unix commands using Tectia as well as understanding shell scripts
Java Frameworks (preferably Spring Boot, Hibernate)
Development/build tools (Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ)
Well versed in development methodologies and the enabling tools and technologies (JUnit, RLM, CI/CD etc.)
Knowledge of application deployment in to Application Servers / Tomcat
Knowledge of design patterns and their usage and fitment in a given scenario
Using build tools TeamCity, Harness will be an advantage
Microservices experience using Springboot will be an added advantage
Desirable Skills:
Working experience of agile methodologies
Good knowledge of software development life cycle
Experience with modern source code management approaches
Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
Independently resolve technical issues, perform task break down and estimation for self and assist team members to perform the same.
High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables
Should be able to interact with client stakeholders to probe a technical problem or clarify requirement specifications
Provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
Work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
Participate and assist in technical training and development of other staff members.
