Job Description
- 8+ years proven expertise in Java, J2EE technologies, Microservices, Spring boot, Hibernate, REST APIs.
- Experience with n-tier web application development and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate.
- Experience with any messaging framework.
- Experience in DevOps practices like CI/CD, Test Automation build Automation using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Chef, Git, Docker.
- Proficient in API Development using SOAP or REST, JSON, and XML.
- Experience developing back-end applications with multi-process and multi-threaded architectures.
- Data Product development experience is essential.
- Result-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. A passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Excellent knowledge in integration with upstream and downstream processes and systems
Desirable
- DevOps exposure with Jenkins and build tools
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git; GitHub Copilot experience
- Experience with building scalable microservices solutions using Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes
- Experience with data processing in cloud environments like Azure or AWS
- Good domain experience in Financial services/capital markets/investment banking
