Required Skills & Qualifications

Frontend Development (Angular)

Strong hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJS.

Experience developing and supporting complex enterprise-grade Angular applications.

Good understanding of Angular architecture, Reactive Forms, Routing, Lazy Loading, State Management, and reusable component design.

Ability to guide development teams on Angular best practices, framework upgrades, coding standards, and performance optimization.

Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs and Microservices.

Knowledge of Angular Material, PrimeNG, or similar UI frameworks is preferred.

Backend Development

Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture.

Experience designing and developing scalable REST APIs and backend services.

Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, security, and application performance tuning.

Experience with messaging systems such as SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.

Strong database knowledge in Oracle, PostgreSQL.

Quality Engineering

Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and testing.

Experience writing backend unit tests using JUnit and frontend unit tests using Jasmine/Karma.

Experience with code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Familiarity with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube or equivalent tools.

AI-Assisted Development

Good understanding and practical usage of GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Leadership, Delivery & Agile

Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers across frontend and backend technologies.

Ability to break down requirements into technical tasks and support sprint planning and execution.

Track team progress, identify risks, remove blockers, and help ensure timely delivery.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies.

Strong experience using JIRA for sprint management, task tracking, and reporting.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Cloud & DevOps

Good understanding of AWS services and how they are utilized within enterprise application architectures.

Familiarity with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and SQS.

Ability to understand and troubleshoot application flows deployed on AWS.

Exposure to CI/CD processes, deployment pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and application monitoring tools will be an added advantage.

Domain Experience

Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.

Understanding of enterprise application development, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements within BFSI environments .

Mandatory Competencies
