Job Description
Technical Expertise:
Must Have -
- Proficient in implementing Google Workspace products such as Docs, Sheets, Keep, Meet, Chat, etc.
- Experience with equipment inventory management through the MDM options of the Google Workspace Admin Console.
- Skilled in conducting periodic security assessments, including evaluating critical user security (e.g., 2SV enabled), access controls for GCP and other Google services, and reviewing Google Workspace Admin roles and privileges.
- Proficient in onboarding/off boarding processes using GAM scripts, Google App Scripts, SSO tools like OKTA, or syncing with company Active Directory through GCDS.
- Experience in developing technical schedules for data migration during mergers and acquisitions, utilizing tools like GWMMO, GWMME, or third-party tools like CloudM Migrate.
- Migration of data to GWS from M365.
Good to have -
- Ability to create and maintain a Services Catalog detailing support procedures for Google Workspace operations.
- Knowledge of Google Vault auditing processes and retention policies for e-discovery/legal requirements.
- Experience in ensuring email backups are performed using tools like GYB or other third-party solutions.
- Skilled in DNS management, including MX records, SPF, DKIM, etc.
- Ability to provide support for users using mail clients like Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and MS Outlook to sync their Google Workspace data.
- Proficient in identifying and distributing training resources for new users on Sheets, Docs, Drive, Keep, Chat, etc.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5 – 8 Years of overall IT Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Google Workspace administration and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Google Workspace applications in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Google Workspace products for a user base of 3,000 employees, extending to 10-15k employees.
- Customize, administer, and build custom apps using Google Workspace.
- Manage equipment inventory and conduct periodic security assessments.
- Handle onboarding/off boarding processes and develop technical schedules for data migration.
- Create and maintain a Services Catalog and oversee Google Vault auditing processes.
- Ensure email backups and manage DNS settings.
- Provide support for users using various mail clients and distribute training resources.
