ETL QA - Lead

Job Description

•    Validate the data flowing from the Canonical Model into  KPIs.
•    Design, execute, and maintain test cases and validation scripts for data accuracy, transformations, and aggregations.
•    Perform end-to-end reconciliation between source systems, canonical entities (Order, Shipment, Freight Invoicing, Cost Allocation, Claims, Complaints), and dashboard outputs.
•    Ensure data lineage traceability from the Silver layer to the dashboard metrics.
•    Collaborate with ETL Developers, Data Architects, and Product Owners to resolve discrepancies.
•    Document validation results, maintain defect logs, and provide QA sign-off for data releases.
•    Support automation of validation processes using SQL, Python (Pandas), or other frameworks.
•    Participate in sprint ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and ensure data readiness for UAT (if applicable Skill
•    Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and query-based testing.
•    Experience in ETL / ELT data testing within Data Warehousing or BI projects.
•    Exposure to Canonical Data Models, data mapping, and data lineage.
•    Familiarity with Databricks platforms.
•    Understanding of KPI-driven dashboard development (preferably in Sigma or Power BI).
•    Working knowledge of Bronze / Silver / Gold layer data flow architecture.
•    Hands-on experience with data validation automation using Python and Pandas preferred.
•    Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
