Job Description

Exceptional communication skills with ability to communicate clear strategy & roadmap up to ExCo levels, both business and technology stakeholders and to technology architecture & engineering communities

Mandatory:

  • 12+ years’ experience on data driven solutions Architecture and Platform engineering
  • End to end architecture design experience
  • Strong knowledge in data migrations, Teradata to cloud
  • Development, evolution and implementation of the banks technology architecture and strategies aligned to the business and technology objectives, unlocking execution and run.
  • Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in often complex/ sensitive situations
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture teams and other developers to provide subject matter expertise and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement, and clients to understand and deliver on their technical needs.
  • Envisioning frameworks for data governance, quality, and compliance.
  • Creating a long-term data roadmap that aligns with company vision.
  • Bridging the gap between business leaders and technical teams.
  • Good experience on data security
  • Ensure compliance (GDPR, data localization, risk frameworks)
  • Drive organizational change around data culture
  • Understanding of developing solutions, IT Architecture and good experience with broad understanding of wide variety of technologies, including AWS, DB -SQL/NoSQL etc
  • Excellent knowledge in Banking domain
  • Enterprise experience – ability to navigate a large organisation, leverage Infrastructure Services, Central Platform teams and supporting Global business
  • Enterprise Agile experience – understanding of the role of architecture in a scaled agile framework
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate design solutions up to both business and technology stakeholders and to technology architecture & engineering communities

Good To Have:

  • Knowledge in Teradata, Databricks, Snowflake, Iceberg, Scala based framework
  • Modelling tools like C4 and Archimate
  • Good learning aptitude and positive attitude
