Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD and hands-on experience (or exposure) to Broadcom CA Nolio for deployment automation. The engineer will drive DevOps modernization, enable CI/CD best practices, and support release automation across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and support deployment automation using Broadcom CA Nolio.
  • Introduce DevOps best practices aligned with DORA metrics.
  • Enable teams to onboard and adopt standardized CI/CD workflows.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes across varied tech stacks.
  • Support release orchestration, environment configuration, and deployment governance.
  • Contribute toward modernization of legacy codebases and pipeline workflows.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • 7+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
  • Strong hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD (primary requirement).
  • Experience with Broadcom CA Nolio / Automic Deploy (preferred).

Preferred Alternatives (If Nolio Experience Is Not Available) -      (Candidates with any of these tools can learn Nolio quickly.)

  • Scripting skills: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
  • Infrastructure automation using Ansible.
  • Strong experience with IIS/Windows-based deployment environment
  • Strong experience working on Windows environment
  • Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployment
  • Familiar with Linux-based deployment environments.
  • Build systems: Gradle, Conda.
  • Solid knowledge of Git branching and release strategies.
  • Rich experience in addressing complexity involving legacy codebase and deployment.
  • Experience/knowledge on qualility and monitoring tools like Sonar, Grafana
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation is a must.
  • Candidate must be proactive and does not require a push every time, self-driven
  • Knowledge of working in Agile & Scrum model is a must to have. Should have knowledge of working in sprints.
  • Candidate must have agile process hands on experience , must have JIRA in day-to-day work.
  • Should be quick learner and self-starter. Should be inquisitive about the program and actively participate in discussions around process and engineering improvements
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good Communication and analytical skills
  • Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)

  • Bitbucket
  • Nexus Repository Manager
  • Jenkins or TeamCity experience.
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Experience in legacy-to-modern DevOps transformation.
  • Certification in Banking domain

Education Qualification: B.Tech or MCA
