Job Description

    • Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure PostgreSQL database schemas and objects (tables, views, functions, procedures).
    • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for regulatory data processing.
    • Collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust database solutions. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems.
    • Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning strategies for large datasets. Support ETL processes and data pipelines for ingestion and transformation of trade data.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
    • Maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and best practices.
    • Overall experience of 8-10 Year with 4+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL development and administration.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and performance tuning.
    • Experience with data modeling, normalization, and query optimization.
    • Experience working with large datasets and real-time data processing.
    • Knowledge of ETL tools, data warehousing, or data lakes is desirable.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
