Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, Spring, and Hibernate to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Develop efficient and scalable code to meet project requirements and adhere to coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Optimize application performance through code refactoring and system enhancements.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java development.
  • Document software designs, technical specifications, and development processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience in Java 8 /11 and above.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting multithreaded applications.
  • Experience with Spring Framework and its various modules.
  • Solid knowledge of Hibernate ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) and database integration.
  • Familiarity with web services development (RESTful, SOAP) and API integration.
  • Working knowledge of Sonar / Blackduck
  • Good understanding of Security vulnerabilities, authentication, authorization
  • Exposure in performance optimization, caching, profiling,
  • Good understanding of Design Patterns
  • Code coverage through Junit.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

 

Preferred (not mandatory) skills:

  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (select, update, join, order by , group by etc…)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, BitBucket).
  • Build and deployment (Maven)
  • Working knowledge of Jira / Confluence
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deploying applications to the cloud.
  • Should be able to explain projects in details (technical architecture & Functionality)

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Relevant experience of 5 to 8 years in java-based application development.
