Job Description

Job Description (JD):
The Information and Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the security Implementation/operations under the Information and Cyber Security Department.
Reporting to Associate Manager Information and Cyber Security.
Candidate will be responsible for overseeing various security technologies and processes, including but not limited to Anti Virus, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Security Proxy, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Operation Centre (SOC), Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Email Security Gateway. 
The primary objectives of this role are to mitigate cyber threats, protect sensitive information, and maintain the overall security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  •  Monitor and analyze security alerts and events generated by various security tools and systems.
  •  Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies promptly.
  •  Conduct regular assessments and audits of security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain effective security measures and best practices.
  •  Perform threat intelligence analysis to proactively identify emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  •  Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
  •  Provide guidance and support to end users on security-related matters, including awareness training and education initiatives.
  •  Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new security technologies and solutions.
  •  Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization’s security posture.
