▸ Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development.
▸ Lead Kubernetes-based deployment workflows on GKE using Helm, ArgoCD, or Cloud Deploy.
▸ Establish GitOps practices for GCP configuration and infrastructure management.
▸ Integrate GCP-native security scanning, Binary Authorization, and compliance gates into pipelines (DevSecOps).
▸ Implement and maintain observability stacks using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Trace.
▸ Drive SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident management on GCP.
▸ Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Infra teams to enable continuous delivery at scale on GCP.
▸ Manage GCP Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, and release versioning strategies.
▸ Champion automation of operational tasks using GCP-native automation and self-service infrastructure.
▸ Lead post-mortem reviews and drive continuous improvement in deployment reliability.
▸ Support hybrid workload pipelines delivering to both GCP and on-prem environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS (GCP MANDATORY)
▸ 10+ years of experience with 5+ years in a DevOps lead or senior role.
▸ Hands-on expertise with GCP DevOps tooling: Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry, Cloud Source Repositories and GitHub Actions — mandatory.
▸ Strong GKE experience including cluster operations, Workload Identity, and automated deployments.
▸ Proficiency in Terraform for GCP infrastructure automation.
▸ Experience with GitOps tools: ArgoCD, Flux, or GCP Cloud Deploy.
▸ Solid scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
▸ Experience with GCP monitoring: Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Trace.
▸ Knowledge of DevSecOps practices: Binary Authorization, Container Analysis, Artifact Registry security.
▸ Experience with hybrid CI/CD pipelines integrating GCP with on-prem environments.
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE (AWS / AZURE CONSIDERED)
▸ Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification (strongly preferred).
