Job Description
- 8+ years advanced proficiency in Big data will Python, Apache Hadoop, Hive, Spark
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with Python Frameworks (e.g. Flask, FastAPI).
- Experience with Oracle database including SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization and database management.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices.
- Familiarity with RESTful API and API design best practices.
- Familiarity with GIT
- Excellent ability to design highly scalable, maintainable and efficient solutions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on innovative and efficient solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in optimizing and fine-tuning big data applications for heightened performance and efficiency.
- Good domain experience in Financial services/capital markets/investment banking
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Excellent knowledge in integration with upstream and downstream processes and systems
