Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior RSA Archer Developer with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of our GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements into functional Archer applications, ensuring our risk management framework is robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design and configure RSA Archer applications, including ODA (On-Demand Applications), sub-forms, and questionnaires.
  • Workflow Automation: Build and maintain complex advanced workflows, data-driven events (DDEs), and calculated fields to automate manual processes.
  • Integration Management: Develop and support Archer Data Feed Manager (DFM) and API integrations (RESTful/SOAP) to sync data with external systems.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create sophisticated reports, iViews, and executive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into risk posture.
  • Access Control: Configure granular access control using Record Permissions, Private Fields, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Upgrade & Maintenance: Participate in RSA Archer version upgrades, patch installations, and performance tuning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders (Risk, Audit, Compliance) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Core Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in RSA Archer (v6.x preferred).
  • Module Proficiency: Deep experience in at least 3–4 core modules (e.g., Enterprise & IT Risk Management, Vendor Management, Policy Management, Audit Management, or Business Resiliency).
  • Advanced Logic: Strong mastery of Archer calculations, DDEs, and Advanced Workflow.
  • Data Integration: Proven experience using Data Feed Manager (DFM) and API integrations.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL for backend troubleshooting.
  • Scripting (Bonus): Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, or CSS for custom UI enhancements.
  • Certification: RSA Archer Certified Associate or Professional (preferred).

Soft Skills

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to map complex business logic to Archer's technical architecture.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business users.
  • Problem Solving: A "get-it-done" attitude toward troubleshooting performance bottlenecks or configuration bugs.
