Job Description
- Analyze and understand existing ASP.Net web applications (MVC/Web Forms) used in the on-premises environment.
- Refactor and optimize ASP.Net code for improved performance, scalability, and security in the cloud.
- Collaborate with Sr. Cloud Engineer/DevOps to understand cloud architecture and best practices for web applications.
- Migrate ASP.Net applications to AWS services like EC2, ECS, or EKS.
- Implement and integrate with cloud-based services like AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and S3.
- Ensure the security and performance of web applications in the cloud environment.
- Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing of migrated web applications.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining ASP.Net web applications (MVC/Web Forms).
- Strong understanding of ASP.Net, .Net framework, C#, and related technologies.
- Experience with web application architecture, design patterns, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS preferred) is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
